Go Daddy go!

Dan dragged us out of bed ridiculously early to take him out to the other side of the city, which was  the starting point of his first half marathon.  We kicked him out of the car and headed for breakfast and a much-needed coffee.  After the caffeine hit, we made our way to the finishing line in the city and found a spot to cheer Daddy on, 100 metres from the finish.  Alyssa really got into it, clapping and shouting “almost there” to pretty much every runner that went past.  Of course, Daddy got the biggest cheer.  He looked pretty happy to see us, or it could have been the sight of the finish line that made him smile.  And fyi, he completed it in 1.53.47.
